Crisis hits recording industry, or perhaps it is only reaching a kind of new era with new rules. Anyway, in such conditions, seting up projects and leading them to success is harder and harder. A&R, marketing, PR, logistics, distribution : any link of this long chain breaking leads to failure.

MARTINGALE's role is to act within a full and complete strategy, whatever the mission : we want to understand the whole chain in order to work with consistency, and with respect of the artists' identities. We can provide several different services :

• Marketing consulting and coordination : managing a whole project by assisting or replacing a label manager, especially if a large number of different people and organisations are implied.
• Management : managing an artist's carrer for every activity or just a specific project
• Public Relations : seting up a PR strategy and its tools, keeping in touch with the right medias.
• In-store promotion and distribution management : trying to get the best from a distributor or completing its job by a strong involvement in stores.
• Other services : recording / licensing / distribution / partnership deals seeking, websites and promotional tools, assistance to indie or DIY projects...

Nevertheless, we got 2 important rules :
- we will never take a project when our other activities (services and label) do not leave enough time to involve they way we should in a project
- inking a contract only if we believe in the project.

We have two acts playing almost in the mean time at famous festival Fête de l'Humanité : eManuel Bémer (who won Zebrock contest alone on stage) and young Lille based Atlantys. Saturday 15th around 6.00 pm on stages Zebrock and Pays du Nord.
