SANDY MOUCHE : France & Switzerland
Swedish band will be in Paris on May 16th for a gig as a trio (with pianist Christopher) at Tryptique, thanks to Eh les Vilains & Froggy's Delight, organizers of monthly 'WedSession'.

The day before, they will be in Switzerland for famous radio show Radio Paradiso.

VERONE at famous festival La Route du Rock and Paris' Inaperçus
Festival of 'Inaperçus' ('Undiscovered') already focused on several great French act on their begining. They invite some of them for edition #10, as VERONE on February 24th. One week before at la Route Du Rock, famous indie rock festival of St Malo now set up a winter edition : VERONE will be there on Friday 17th February at Palais du Grand Large.

After reaching great #3 position in in 'Best Of 2005' from Daily newspaper Liberation, "Retour au Zoo" from VERONE also got Bronze in very good webzine ADA's Ubu d'Or (behind Sufjan Stevens and Bloc Party, before Arcade Fire and Sébastien Schuller). Debut album from VERONE also appears several times in top 10 des from editors of Belgian music magazine Rif Raf.

Feable Weiner first show in Paris delayed
We will have to wait a few more weeks to see FW on stage in Paris for the first time, show at la Boule Noire has been cancelled. We hope we will soon be able to announce a gig as support band for a more famous act. Anyway the guys will be in Paris to perform a couple of radio shows on Europe 2 and Oui FM.

A waste
As our discussions with MAPLEWOOD and their lawyer were close to end up with a licensing deal, I just discovered they album was released in France in january by Chronowax. Their american label exported finish product.
I set up Martingale for this : avoiding a waste of many great albums released this way, with very small level of promotion, no ambition, no chance for the band to achieve something in France. I am a bit upset. We will see with the band what we can do and keep you informed on this website.

Famous indie label Must Destroy (The Darkness among others) just signed a deal for the rest of Europe. "Dear Hot Chicks" will be released in the UK on October 11th, single "San Deem Us Ready" is due October 4th. On the French side, Martingale still plans a release of FW's album on September 29th.
